
Janice Bade, RN
Head Nurse
Janice, RN grew up in Yakima and pursued her nursing education at Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho. She returned to Yakima and began her nursing career at St. Elizabeth’s hospital, gaining experience on a medical unit and in the ICU/CCU. She spent nineteen years in the hospital setting and developed a strong foundation in critical care, patient management, and charge nurse responsibilities.
From 1996-2003 Janice worked at Lake Aspen, an eye-exclusive surgery center, gaining specialized experience in ophthalmic surgical care. Since the inception of our Eye Center, she has been an integral part of the organization, serving as a registered nurse and now as the Head Nurse. In this role, Janice manages the day-to-day operations of the surgery center and leads an exceptional nursing team, providing outstanding care and support to patients, staff, and physicians alike. Janice plays a pivotal leadership role blending clinical expertise in ophthalmic surgery with strong management and communication skills.
Janice and husband Alan raised four children on acreage in beautiful Moxee, and now boast eight grandchildren. A well balanced family, work, church life keeps them busy at home and in the community.
